Motivation: I have a passion for helping others. I love puzzles, and research is full of puzzles waiting to be solved. There is always something to learn, even when things do not go the way that you planned.

My name is Joy Jackson and I’m a sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee. At the University of Miami, I’m majoring in biomedical engineering with a mechanical concentration and minoring in biological physics

My name is Giovanni Medy, a Haitian-American, second-generation biomedical engineering student and JANUS Scholar. I am an active member is several organizations on campus, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Planet Kreyol, National Society of Black Engineers, Biomedical Engineering Society, and First Star Youth Academy.

Niani is an Atlantan striving for a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering here at the University of Miami.

My hometown is Titusville Florida, and I am currently a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-medical track.
I was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri! I study Neuroscience here at UM.  In previous years, I helped with student outreach for our radio station WVUM!


I am from Memphis, Tennessee majoring in Architectural Engineering. Along with research, I am also involved with the National Society of Black Engineers as Treasurer and serve as an ambassador for the College of Engineering.
My name is Eduardo, I’m from Spain and I’m majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Concentration with a minor in Mathematics. 

I was born and raised in Orlando, FL. I am a senior majoring in Athletic Training. Outside of my classwork and clinicals, I spend a lot of my time in service and involvement - particularly at the Butler Center.

Hi, my name is Maelle Arboite. I'm a 22-year-old Haitian American that grew up in Westchester, NY. I now live in Dallas, TX with my family after moving my sophomore year of high school.
