I am from Memphis, Tennessee majoring in Architectural Engineering. Along with research, I am also involved with the National Society of Black Engineers as Treasurer and serve as an ambassador for the College of Engineering. Additionally, one of my passions is health and fitness.
My excitement to be in this immersive lab experience stems from my classroom lab courses and wanting to work towards a more sustainable industry with materials and building methods.
In high school, I had the opportunity to be mentored by a college student which I believe aided in my successful transition to college. This opportunity will allow me pass on the valuable knowledge and support I learned and experienced.
