I was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri! I study Neuroscience here at UM.
In previous years, I helped with student outreach for our radio station WVUM! After graduation, I plan on going to Neuroscience graduate program then doing research of my own.
I’m extremely grateful for the research opportunity with this program and am also very excited about the high school mentoring program! There’s a serious lack of black representation in the STEM field so if we’re able to inspire at least a few students from this program to pursue a STEM career, we would’ve made a big difference!
